Another week in the books!
Happy Friday! I have to admit, I’ve never been one to say “TGIF.” I just have never had the personality that feels like a week is something to be endured. Yes, of course, life has its moments. But while certainly not 100% successful, I try to live in the moment and look positively and forward. So if I am a “TGIF” person, it’s because God has given us the opportunity to start a new week.
This week has been a good one. We recovered from Hurricane Debby’s effects and got back on track with our Molly Maid schedule. I made several contacts in the SpinJen Productions business and have a nicely building backlog of leads and bookings, so we’re feeling good about that. Jennifer is recovering nicely from the medical procedure she had three weeks ago. Marilyn had a nice week. And Jenson got his grooming done and looks like a proper Bichon again.
And the band I’m in (40 Years Too Late) got through a recent busy streak and we have a couple weeks off, which means we focus on what I think is an exciting part of being in a band - learning new or relearning older music we haven’t played in a while.
